Well, I'm on the road again for a coupla days.
I've got an awful lot of catching up to do this week. I spoke with our good, good friend, Sid Bernstein, the other day about the possibility of doing a Spring Concert in a theater called Symphony Space on the Upper Westside. (@95th Street.) He's all gung-ho about it. He really thinks we oughta do it. He says, judging by the way we all show up in the park every week, we should just go ahead and book it. Y'see, we're already booked into Merkin Concert Hall for December... y'know, our usual end-of-the-year show. But, the thing is this... we've sold out Merkin 2 times in a row. Merkin holds 450 people. Those nights are incredibly fun for me, the band, and all the guests we have on stage. But, Symphony Space is a theater with 760 seats. I think we could go ahead and do it if I had a feeling anyone would show up. It's a big commitment to go for a place that size, but I think it would be sooooo cool if we could do it.
I'll be filling you in more about it as we figure pout what we're gonna do.
Listen, the other thing that's pretty important to me and Jo and James... could you guys give James some feedback to this new website design? He's working awfully hard on this, and I think it's looking great. But, ultimately, you're the people who are gonna be using it. So, let us know what you think, okay?
Thanks for everything... see you in the park.
(Oh yeah, and that "Question of the Week" isn't real, okay? James just threw that on there as a test.)
