I'll be in the park today. Man! What a day!
Went to bed last night and it was driving rain. Woke up this morning, not a cloud in the sky. I just wanna pack up my guitar and head to The Lake and sing all day. If you're not doing anything else, I hope I see you out there.
Y'know that feeling you get when you're on a rollercoaster... not when you're flying around the turns and screaming and stuff. But, when you're being pulled up the first big incline to the top. When you hear that "chick-chuck, chick-chuck, chick chuck" underneath the car, and you're going up and up and up. Then you start to see the first couple of cars disappearing over the hump and down the other side. And, the ride is painfully slow for just a few seconds. Then your car gets to the top, and the cars behind you are reaching the top, and you're just about to take off.
Right there.
That's the feeling I have.
That's the feeling I woke up with this morning. Now, I don't know if it's about, y'know, "making it to the big time" or anything that shallow. I just feel like it has to do with a big exciting change in my life. Maybe and inward change. Maybe an outward change. Maybe it is a career thing, or a creative thing, or something much more powerful and subtle.
Anyway, I'm just gonna really enjoy going to Central Park today.
Hope I see you there.
