Get ready to share, because…

THE NEW SONG IS HERE!!!

Hey guys… okay… here we go!!!

The new song is here. But I need YOU to share it all across the country and around the world. Share it on Facebook. Share it on Instagram. Share it with your neighbors and friends.

And join me tomorrow to sing in Central Park if we get out there!

Tomorrow is looking kinda shaky again, weather-wise. Looking like rain in the morning tomorrow. But then… who knows. That means it’s probably best if you check back in the morning, here or on Facebook, to see when I’ll be heading out to “The Hill” with my guitar. If it’s a “GO” I’ll start at the usual time… probably crank up around 1:00 and play until 5:30 or 6:00. (Or until I fall over.)

IF IT’S A RAIN OUT — I’ll stream live from my apartment at 3:00 EDT.

So check back!

Here’s a map to show you exactly where!

Got a feeling we’re gonna have another “typically amazing” day. It’s what usually happens. I mean, over the course of an afternoon a few thousand people gather on that little grassy hill to share music and laughs, stories and thoughts and feelings… hundreds of New Yorkers, and people from all across the country and different parts of the world. Often, DANCING BREAKS OUT!!! I mean… dancing spontaneously breaks out on the path, Pure joy. Now, I have been “That Guitar Man from Central Park” for over 25 years now. It’s something that continues to keep me in a nearly constant state of amazement and gratitude.

If YOU have any photos or video from other Saturdays, please shoot them to me on Facebook, okay?

OH!!! By the way… I am raising money again for the “Permit Fund”. It’s just something I do every year if you feel like being a part of the gig and helping to take care of some of the overhead involved in getting out to Central Park on Saturdays throughout the summer. All of the permit fees are paid for… the Special Events Permits and the Sound Device Permits from the NYPD. But… if you think you would like to help out in that regard, every year I do a little something called the “Permit Fund”. (It’s only there if you can afford to help and if you feel like it.)

MAYBE WE’LL HAFTA REVIVE THIS SONG FOR THE SUMMER!!!

Remember… this is the first summer of “The Trump Nightmare”.

And thank YOU for showing up here today. If you’re new around here… WELCOME! If you don’t follow me on Facebook, go there now and then keep checking back.

It’s come to my attention that a lot of people are visiting this website for the first time, just because of a few other things that are happening in my Creative Life as an artist. So I just wanna welcome you…

I know. I know. For reasonable, sane people this is another tough week. But we’re in it together and we have work to do. Today I’m gonna share a feel good video from our “Year End Concert” at Merkin Concert Hall here in New York City last December.

First, the concert video…

Today, I find myself sitting on top of 3 incredible Creative projects that seem to be exploding into the world as I’m writing this: the new play “The Green Room” – the video for the song “Dreamers Like Me” – and the Creation of a NEW MUSICAL… which is the off-spring of the workshopped musical “Possibility Junkie”.

Here are a few images from the recent concert, captured by our photographers friends David Hayase and Sean Friedman.

I’m still living this Life with open arms and Love, but ZERO tolerance for people who voted for or continue to support the abomination that is Donald J Trump. AI wrote a brand new song that says, “I hope they feel like joining us someday.” But until that day, the rest of us have work to do!!!

ROCK ON!

Cool?

Thanks so much for hangin’ out.

Especially this past Saturday…

THANK YOU for showing up.

For every single one of you who sang and smiled and participated in the new song “Get Out Our House”… what can I say?

THANKS!

But actually, I need to thanks every one of you who showed up at all today. It’s been a challenging time for me personally in a lot of ways. Getting to share music and laugh, thoughts, stories and feelings with all of you this weekend was a tonic for me.

I’ll be back with photos from Saturday. But it was a day when I really needed to be “That Guitar Man from Central Park”. It was a day I really needed to see every one of your smiling faces. Thank You.

For over 25 years I have been known in this town as “That Guitar Man from Central Park”. It keeps me in a constant state of gratitude. I mean, over the course of the afternoon a few thousand people gathered again on that little grassy hill to share music and laughs, stories and thoughts and feelings… hundreds of New Yorkers, and people from all across the country and different parts of the world were hangin’ out and singing together. Our photographer friends were out there again so I’ll be back this week with photos and maybe some video.

Here are a few shots from another weekend.

If YOU have any photos or video from this past Saturday, please shoot them to me on Facebook, okay?

Hang with me in CENTRAL PARK.

HEAD OUT THERE TODAY!

Here we go… AGAIN. Rain in the morning, but it looks like it will move out in time. It looks like we’re gonna have a beautiful afternoon after a little moisture in the morning hours. That means I’ll be heading out to “The Hill” with my guitar at the usual time… probably crank up around 1:00 and play until 5:30 or 6:00. (Or until I fall over.)

I’m thinking we’re gonna have a beautiful afternoon tomorrow with the Sun peeking through some high clouds and a gentle breeze blowing. BUT!!! I have a new project in the works and if YOU head out to the park today you will be a really important part of it. So if you’re in or around New York City, I hope I see you out there!

Here’s a map to show you exactly where!

The project? A new song and video and I am really gonna try to get it out to the world… sooner than later. Be in it! Be a part of making it happen!
